Blake and I first met at our High School Winter Ball Dance when we were juniors. I went with a group of my girlfriends while he had a date. I was dancing and having a great time with friends when I noticed he would not quit staring at me! Throughout the night, he kept staring and opening doors for me and it seemed to me that he had forgotten about his date he came with. The next day I went to lunch with my best friend Kelsey when I got a text from a “secret admirer”. Somehow Blake, AKA "secret admirer", talked his way into Kelsey and I's movie plans that night. Him and a few buddies tagged along with Kelsey and I and some other of my friends to the movie theater. Still, in my head, I thought nothing more of it than a fun evening with friends. Blake, however, had other plans in mind. After many weeks of him trying to convince me to go on a date, I finally gave into his persistent charm and agreed to go to dinner with him at Pei Wei. A month later on a Valentine's Day card he asked me to be his girlfriend. As a couple since then we have grown so much. At 16, I found my perfect opposite. Somehow though, the vast differences in our personalities make us work so well. Loving Blake has led us on so many adventures, and I cannot wait to go on a life time more with him.
I first saw Ashtynne at our Junior year Winter Ball. She was wearing a gold dress, and I couldn't take my eyes off of her (my date wasn't too happy about that). I swore to my buddies that the Girl In The Gold Dress was the woman for me, and I vowed to do whatever I could to make her mine. After posing as her Secret Admirer and asking her out (three times), she finally agreed to accompany me to dinner. The rest is history. Through many highs and many lows, my love for Ashtynne has grown more than I ever thought imaginable. Being the polar opposite of me, I never believed I could love someone enough to try a vegan diet for more than a week--but God had an amazing and perfect plan for me. That plan led me to the eclectic, fun, caring, and vibrant soul that I have the honor to spend the rest of my life with.
