Brendan and I met during a sunday funday at Goodwood (a bar in Old Town Scottsdale). Our friends had just started dating, and some of my other friends had already met Brendan because of this. I remember, a few days before we met, my friend Maddy showed me his instagram. I didn't think much of it at the time, because 2023 was the year for me, not for men. That lasted 8 whole days, LOL. Brendan swears I gave him the cold shoulder at first, but our sunday funday didn't end until 11:30pm because time got the best of us. Our first official date was the next weekend, where we got AZ88 martini's, and ever since sitting next to him at the bar that night, I knew he'd be my husband.

I met Ashtyn on a random Sunday funday in Old Town. A couple weeks prior, my friend began dating one of her friends and the first thing I did was go through her Instagram to see if she had any cute friends. I remember asking my friend about Ashtyn and constantly telling him that he needs to set something up so I could get the chance to meet her. A couple of weeks go by, and he tells me that he was in old town Scottsdale drinking on a Sunday and that I should come. Initially I wasn’t that interested. The next text he sent me was “Ashtyn is here.” I quickly got ready and drove there immediately. I walked into Goodwood and there she was. I was taken back for a second but I gained the courage to introduce myself to her and ask if she wanted a drink. She quickly said “no, thank you” and continued on. I stayed persistent and we ended up hanging out the whole day, eventually going bowling and back to a friend’s house later that night. Eventually, she ended up leaving and I realized I never got her number! I panicked and got her number from her friend. Two days later I dropped coffee off at her house before she left for work, and we planned our first date for that weekend at AZ88. Since then, we’ve been basically inseparable, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
