Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, please. Tuxes and gowns welcome, and cocktail attire equally so. P.S. Dress for warm weather!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids— we really do. But we want this to be your night off! The venue isn't really suitable for kids (someone would end up in the pond and there would be a lot of screaming...). If you need help finding a sitter, let us know!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the "Hotels" tab for hotel recommendations and discount codes! We suggest staying in the Williamsburg neighborhood, but Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, and Downtown Brooklyn are all great areas. Brooklyn hotels can be pricy, but there are great deals on Airbnb.

Is there air conditioning?

Answer

Sadly, there is no A/C in the venue because the building is open to the outdoors. Also, the ceremony will be outside by the water (weather permitting!). That said, the building does stay cool inside in the evening, even on really hot days. Plus we'll have fans running all night!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a special parking area inside Prospect Park for guests, which you are welcome to use. If you are planning on driving to the venue, let us know and we'll send you all the necessary information!

I'm taking a taxi/Uber/Lyft/Via to the wedding. Where should I ask the driver drop me off?

Answer

Ask the driver to please drop you off at "101 Ocean Avenue" in Brooklyn, NY. There will be wayfinders at the entrance to the park who will guide you to the Boathouse.
