Hotel

Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City - Centro Historico

24 Calle 5 de Febrero, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06060, Mexico

This is our recommendation, it’s an American hotel in the center of the city and is about 25 min. from the Basilica, the Venue, & the Street Party.

Travel Note

Passport

Nota Bene: If you are coming from outside of Mexico you will need your U.S. Passport to get into the country.

Flights into Mexico

We recommend flying into Mexico City International Airport (MEX)

Money: Pesos & the Revolut Card

The currency in Mexico is pesos. You’ll want to either order pesos in advance if you’re old school, or sign up for a Revolut card (Highly Recommend). The Revolut card allows you to exchange money between currencies in real time, and you can monitor the exchange rate on the app. There is a real physical card, or you can have it in your apple wallet and tap to pay. It’s super convenient and much simpler (& safer) than having to go back and forth to the atm. You can transfer money from your other bank accounts into it, and then withdraw it. Go check it out!
