Jordan and Ashton first met in fall of 2017 when Jordan transferred to Morningside. Jordan first came into contact with Ash as the two helped move in a mutual friend. Safe to say that Jordan didn't forget her after anytime soon.. As months rolled on Jordan continued to express his interest in Ashton to friends, family and Ashton herself. BUT Ashton was busy playing hard to get. The two slowed down communication over Christmas break but of all things, A T-SHIRT is what ultimately made Ashton give Jordan a shot. Finally, in January of 2018, Ashton asked Jordan to dinner. One month later, February 27th 2018, the two were official. In May of 2019, along came Cowboy. The two moved to Rochester, MN in 2021 but quickly realized, Des Moines was home. The two moved back where eventually, Jordan proposed in front of the state capital building in Des Moines in 2024. The couple is ecstatic to be able to declare their love in front of the most important people in the world to them. And of course, to celebrate with the best music and dancing this side of the Missouri or Mississippi!
