FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We absolutely love children and are so happy to celebrate with the little ones who are included on the invitation. While we wish we could extend the invitation to all our guests' children, we are keeping the celebration more intimate and are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for the evening. For men, this means dress pants with a nice shirt. A tie or bow tie is optional—no jacket or full suit necessary. For women, cocktail dresses, midi dresses, dressy skirts, or pant outfits are appropriate. We encourage everyone to dress nicely, keep the weather in mind, and consider the vibe of the venue!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins--that way, everyone has time to park, find their seat, and settle in before we say "I do." The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm and we want to make sure no one misses a moment.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Hotel Julien. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour at 4:30 PM. The reception will start at 5:30 PM, all in the same location—no need to travel between venues!

Question

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available on the property. If the hotel's lot fills up, guests can park in the covered parking structure on 4th Street (a short walk from the hotel).

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We're asking guests to honor our unplugged ceremony—that means no phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony itself. Our photographer and videographer will capture everything, and we'll happily share photos with you later. Once cocktail hour beings, feel free to take all the photos and videos your heart desires!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We won’t have a full open bar, but we will be offering a few complimentary drink options throughout the evening. Guests can enjoy a free unlimited red wine, a free unlimited white wine, and a free unlimited beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages like hot cocoa and hot cider. If you’d like something else, there will also be a cash bar available.
