FAQs

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding site?

Answer

Yes! The wedding venue has a large parking lot available for all guests!

Question

What if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by our requested cut off date, August 1st, you will be automatically marked as not attending. We would love to have you celebrate with us, however, we need to provide our vendors with an exact guest count, on this date, so we cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Only guests that are formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we do love your little ones, this is an adults only event. With the exception of the children in the wedding, we are not able to accommodate anyone under the age 16. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and find your seat. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us! Lets have some fun! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We invite you to dress boldly and elegantly! We kindly ask that our guest follow our preferred color scheme. Please visit the “Attire” tab to learn more!

Question

If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We have blocked off rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown First Ward. The room block is listed under the "Hunter-Young Wedding" and the rooms are listed at a discounted rate. Please visit the travel tab for more information.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones/cameras be put away and silenced. We would like everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you.
