What is the resort like?

Answer

This is a beach front tropical all inclusive resort featuring 3 pools and 9 restaurants and a spa. The resort offers many complementary activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, tennis and more. Other excursions like golf and deep sea fishing can be booked through the resort at an additional cost. We plan on utilizing every opportunity during our stay to make memories and celebrate this special moment in our lives. Please refer to the travel agent or resort website for information regarding scheduling activities and other excursions.

Will I need a passport?

Answer

YES YES YES! Please keep in mind the turn around time to obtain a passport or passport renewal.

What do I wear for the wedding?

Answer

Resort formal - more lax than traditional formal attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Where do I fly to?

Answer

You may choose then Tulum or Cancun airport. The travel agency will help you plan transfers from the airport to the resort. We will be flying into the newly renovated Tulum airport. We are seeing better reviews with choosing to travel through Tulum over Cancun.

How do I pick a hotel room?

Answer

Through the link on the travel tab, you will be able to choose from various hotel room options. On the travel booking travel website, there are select rooms listed however, more options are available on the resort. Please reach out to the travel agent as she will discuss every room option, price match, and ensure you book the room that best meets your needs and budget. Contact info@wishtowandertravel.com to inquire about an alternate room on the resort.

When is the deadline for booking a room?

Answer

We have asked the resort to hold a number of rooms for our celebration until March 1st. These rooms will be released to other travelers after March 1st. You may still book after that deadline with our travel agent however, not all rooms are guaranteed to be available after our deadline.

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

The resort common areas and restaurants do require certain attire. Of course the beach, pool, and near by outdoor patio bars and restaurants allow swimwear with a coverup and sandals. The other restaurants and bars range from casual dining where normal summer time shorts and tops with sleeves are acceptable to casual elegance where slacks, collared shirts and dress shoes or sandals are required. Make sure you pack appropriately so you have access to the entire property!

When are you traveling?

We will be staying at the resort from July 9th - 14th. The resort does require a 3 night minimum stay.
