Ashton and Denny's story began in high school, where they shared a love for basketball and attended rival schools. Though they knew of each other, their interactions were limited, and life took them on different paths. Over the years, their paths crossed a few times, but nothing memorable connected them again. Fast forward 17 years. One day, a friend mentioned to Ashton that Denny Jones was single. The timing was uncanny because Ashton had just seen Denny at Wal-Mart the day before.
