We met freshman year of college at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. We quickly bonded over both knowing the Palisades Mall and the fact that Ashley thought David looked like David Henrie from Wizards of Waverly Place (yes, she did tweet that at him before she had his phone number). After 4 years of eating most meals together in our dining hall and accidentally convincing our classmates we were dating, we both headed back to the NYC area - still the best of friends. We spent years reminding everyone we were just friends, to only start dating two years after graduation. Four years later, we got engaged.

We got engaged in Jefferson Market Garden in the West Village. We took our dog, Oliver, for a walk and David led us to the garden, sharing sweet sentiments about our many years of friendship and dating. Once we were there, we made our way to a park bench where David proposed. It was a private, intimate moment between the two of us (& Oliver) before we went to White Oak Tavern to celebrate with a few friends and family. We cannot wait to celebrate with more of our loved ones soon!
