Like many great stories, theirs started with friends. Clayton and Ashlynne were set up by mutual friends who knew they would make a perfect match. Ashlynne took a leap of faith when she drove to Ouchita Baptist University to go on a date with Clayton in the fall of 2021. He was supposed to be focused on football season, but Covid sidelined him, creating the perfect opportunity for them to spend the whole weekend together. The rest was history! Clayton and Ashlynne withstood long distance until he moved to Fayetteville. After 4 years together, Clayton proposed on Mount Sequoyah- the same place he first said “I love you.” The day was everything Ashlynne could have dreamed of, included friends, family, and a lot of love. They have truly become each other’s best friends and biggest supporters. Clayton and Ashlynne look forward to celebrating this new chapter with everyone!
