Bride's Story

Jeffrey and I met our freshman year at IU while living at the Christian Student Fellowship house. From when we first met, we seemed to just understand each other and very quickly became close friends. He has always had the ability to actually articulate my thoughts and has a confidence that has always inspired me. Our friendship was, and still is, one where we can have a good time doing absolutely anything, even if that means sitting around doing nothing. It naturally developed into a friendship where the seat next to mine was his and we watched a lot of shows and movies, played a lot of games, and ate lots and lots of food. Many of our friends suspected that we would end up together long before we did. We eventually had our first official date at Buffalo Wild Wings (naturally). After we began dating, we remained best friends but even better. We grew closer through holidays spent together, family vacations, long-distance summers and breaks, and just doing everyday life things together. Then after about one and a half years of dating (and Jeff lying to me about not having a ring yet), he proposed to me on the beach in Anna Maria Island, Florida, March 14th, 2019. I said yes to my best friend and here we are! We're both so excited to share this amazing day with all of our family and friends and can't wait to experience what God has planned for us next!

Groom's Story

I met Ashlynn right away freshman year when we both moved into the Christian Student Fellowship House at IU. Ashlynn and I quickly became great friends and spent a lot of time together. Eventually, during our sophomore year, our relationship became more than just a friendship and we started dating around Thanksgiving. Even though we were now dating, we still had the same fun friendship we had before. Ashlynn and I have always had fun doing nothing and just enjoy being together. From watching Sky High too many times, to watching random YouTube videos, and even going to get food just because, we always have a great time and I have always loved that. Over time, we grew closer and began to also get to know each other's families better. We traveled to Wisconsin with my family over the summer and to Florida with her family over Thanksgiving during our junior year. Both of these trips were great to be able to spend time with each other's family. Finally, on the beach in Florida over spring break, with Ashlynn's sister photographing from afar, Ashlynn (believe it or not) agreed to spend the rest of our lives together. We can't wait until our wedding date and are excited to spend time seeing so many great friends and family and to celebrate this next stage of our lives!
