Stop number 3 of the animal lover trifecta when visiting Northern Arizona. A zoo/drive-thru wildlife park with food and liquor vendors, a giant gift shop, a nice restaurant, and many North American mammals. Think Yellowstone, but smaller. I met the CEO once super nice guy.
When in Northern Arizona, this is a for-sure must-see.

Ashlynn's welcome dinner when she started at Out of Africa, and the location of her Goodbye dinner when she switched gears to being a vet tech. This restaurant group also owns a breakfast place (the clinkscale) and a pizzeria (the haunted pizzano).
We have been dying to do this but haven't found the time. This has been recommended to us since we moved here!
Feeling like learning something? This ruin site is a hike and an educational opportunity. There is also Montezuma's Well near our house, which is home to an endemic bacterium found only in the arsenic-filled water of this one location.
We go to the pecan and wine festival every year in Camp Verde, and this was our favorite winery featured.
