Let’s Get Ready To Reimer!

It all started with a simple gesture: I bought Dave a drink at the bar, and he was pleasantly surprised by a woman making the first move. That sparked an immediate connection, and we quickly hit it off. We spent that weekend bonding over music—at the time, Post Malone’s albums (haha)—and our shared love for music set the tone for what was to come. Soon, we were bonding over sports and had our first date at a Milwaukee Bucks game. Fun fact: every year since we’ve been together, we’ve gone to a playoff game, and they always seem to win. At this point, it’s a tradition! We began our relationship in 2020, right in the midst of the pandemic. After just a few months, I moved into Dave’s apartment, and together, we navigated those unpredictable times as a team. 2021 was a year of learning and growing, and by 2022, we were making incredible memories traveling to places like Vegas, Nashville, and Denver. We explored our love for trying new restaurants and going to concerts. In 2023, we focused on more things like sports, kayaking, disc golf, and enjoying time with our beloved pup, Loki. Travel became less of a priority as we found joy in the simple things and celebrated a huge milestone—moving into our first home together. Then, on November 30th, 2023, came our best moment yet—we got engaged, and it was truly one of the best days of our lives. We're so excited to explore this next chapter and can't wait to see what the future holds!

On November 30, 2023, what began as a Christmas card photo shoot turned into an unexpected proposal. Wanting to make this year extra special, we hired a professional photographer for candid shots in the scenic Kettle Moraine. Little did I know, as I briefly stepped away to tend to our dog, Loki, Dave took the opportunity to propose, ring box tucked in his pocket the entire time! Upon my return, expecting another photo, our photographer stepped in, revealing Dave on one knee, asking me to spend the rest of forever with him. Overwhelmed with surprise and joy, our impromptu engagement session beautifully captured a moment we'll forever cherish — ♥️
