Ashlynn was Dan’s gym aid in high school. He was already crushing on her then. They reconnected when Dan was visiting more in Sheboygan while he was still living in Milwaukee. Outside of Vreeke’s Dan asked Ashlynn if she remembered him. Ashlynn apparently said “of course I remember you.” Ashlynn fixed his sweatshirt strings before he entered the bar and now here we are!

We had a house warming party for our friends and family. While we were opening up gifts - Dan told Ashlynn he had a gift for her. He then got down on one shaky knee and Ashlynn finally said yes after the shock wore off.
