It all started when Ashlynn decided to get a job at Jackson County Jail after working as a seasonal property Worker at Hardy Lake in November 2020. Brandon began to train Ashlynn sometimes in the control rooms and this is where they learned a lot about each other. As time went on, Ashlynn and Brandon kept everything professional, only seeming to be friends until one day, Brandon invited Ashlynn to the Jackson-Washinton State Forest to go on a hike where they proceeded to hike over 6 miles and got lost, although Brandon did not admit that he was lost. 
 After that day, things between Brandon and Ashlynn were not the same and they became very close after over a month, Ashlynn asked Brandon when he planned on asking her to be his girlfriend, to which he replied, “I thought we were already dating?” After that, they just picked the date of their adventure at the Jackson-Washington State Forest as the day they started dating. 
 When approaching 4 years of dating and expecting their sweet baby in a few short months, Ashlynn had been wondering when Brandon would ask Ashlynn to marry him. 
 Brandon had always planned on asking Ashlynn to marry him, but he wanted it to be a surprise so when he believed that Ashlynn was on to him, like he through back in 2022, he decided to hold off on asking her. 
 The day Brandon asked Ashlynn to marry him, they were getting ready to head out to take maternity photos when Brandon told Ashlynn to go to the car and he would be out in a moment. Brandon then got out the ring that he had been hiding in his shoe for over a month that Ashlynn had moved multiple times. 
 When they arrived at the maternity shoot session, Ashlynn had no clue what was to come. Brandon had gone on his own and messaged the photographer separately, sharing that he wanted to propose and set up a game plan to propose to Ashlynn. The photographer had Ashlynn turn around and pose away from Brandon while he got down on one knee. Once he was ready, she had Ashlynn turn around and was able to capture the moment of shock and pure love that Ashlynn had for Brandon. Brandon stated that he was scared that Ashlynn would say no, but Ashlynn was ready to have a life with him as his wife. 
 Since then, they have been raising their beautiful babygirl and anticipating the day they will become Mr. & Mrs. Lange.
