Finding love is tough, especially when you're socially awkward. Fortunately, some brave soul invented dating websites, to help all those who have trouble with finding love. Unfortunately, dating websites also contain people that you generally do not want to go on a date with. Ashlyn was about ready to give up on OkCupid when she found Stephanie's profile. She reached out and they started talking. And then they decided to meet. First date was in downtown Portsmouth on the coldest day of the year. It also happened to be the day before Valentine's Day. They hadn't planned on that, it just happened to be the first day off they both had. They met. They enjoyed their time together. And they were both relieved that the other wasn't a serial killer. At the beginning of the date, Ashlyn gave Stephanie a small, handmade piggy that she had crocheted. "It's a thank you, for going on a date with me," Ashlyn said. The next day was Valentine's Day. Stephanie took a photo of the pig with a note reading "Will you be my Valentine?" and texted it to Ashlyn, and Ashlyn replied "Yes!" They've been together ever since.
