Ryan and I met our freshman year of high school, in 2010. We ended up having math and history class together. We had many mutual friends in common, but came from different elementary and middle schools and only knew a little about each other. We sat by each other in both classes and ended up talking quite a lot! Once we exchanged numbers, we were texting 24/7 and always talking in class. One thing led to another and on April 26th, 2010, Ryan asked me to be his girlfriend. We stayed together through high school and even ended up winning Prom King and Queen together! We moved in together soon after high school and ended up buying a house in 2019. Owning a home, starting our careers, and getting our first fur babies helped us navigate through life as adults together and the many obstacles that come with it. Through 12 years together we have been through so much and continue to be best friends and the best partners for each other, and cant wait for this next chapter in our lives.

On our 10 year anniversary, Ryan decided to take me to San Fransisco and Pacifica to spend the day together at the places we loved to visit throughout our relationship. The weather had forecasted clouds and cold, but it turned out to be the most sunny beautiful weather! Ryan took me to a spot in SF overlooking the ocean, and while i wasn't expecting it, in the back of my mind i was hoping today would be the day he proposed. Ryan told me i kept sitting on the overlook and to make me stand up, he told me to skip rocks of the ledge with him. While we were doing this, he gave me a big hug from behind and turned me around so i was facing him. He then proceeded to get on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was ecstatic and there was no doubt in either of our minds that the answer would be yes. We were on cloud 9 for the rest of the day and left the city to spend the day/evening at Pacifica on the beach. It was the perfect way to kickstart celebrating a decade together and celebrating our future as the Fullers!
