Our story has been ongoing for as long as we can remember. We went to school together at Briarwood from kindergarten to senior year of high school. We grew up hanging around the same group of friends, but we started dating in the 8th grade. We had that middle school "puppy love" where we always chased each other down the school halls and drove our teachers crazy when we passed notes during all our classes together. We dated for a little over two years, then we decided to just be friends. Although it was heartbreaking for both of us at the time, little did we know that God had a greater plan for our futures. We stayed close friends for years, then Reagan asked me on a date our senior year of college. That was the (second) best yes that I have ever given Reagan. From there, my middle school sweetheart turned into my college sweetheart, and now, the rest is history.

Every year, Reagan's parents take the family on a trip for Christmas. This year, our trip was to Phoenix, Arizona. We all played golf on our first day at The Golf Club of Estrella. Little did I know, Reagan's bad golf game that day was because of his nerves, not his lack of skills! That evening, we went to this beautiful restaurant that had a view overlooking all of Phoenix. Before we got settled in our seats, Reagan's mom, Mitzi, mentioned that we should go out on the patio and check out the view. Although I was a little confused that we were rushing out to see the view and take pictures before we even got served our drinks, I didn't think much further into it. Reagan's mom started to take pictures of Reagan and me, and then she asked if I would take a picture of her and Reagan's dad. I went to grab the camera, then Reagan asks for one more picture. I turned around, and he was on his knee and asked me to marry him!
