An integral question to any event. In connection with our strict moral values, we will indeed be having an open bar. There is, however, no obligation to drink alcohol. Soft drinks will also be available at the open bar.
Of course! As many guests will opt to fly instead of drive to Orlando, we wholeheartedly understand if you don't want a blender to take up your free carry-on. If you purchase a gift from Amazon, it will be sent directly to Paul and my mailing address. However, if you opt to buy something from Ikea or Target and wish to have it mailed to us, please ask Paul or I for our address and we will happily give it to you.
No! Our guests are able to attend the ceremony and reception without park admission. However, if you would like to purchase park tickets, feel free to do so.
There is no obligation to stay on Disney Property. However, it will be much easier if you do because the shuttles will only pick guests up and drop them off at the resorts. If you stay off property, you will need to let us know because our wedding planner will need to give you a parking pass for one of the three resorts we have allotted for guests to stay at for our wedding. If you are staying on Disney Property, you MUST reserve your hotel through our hotel link by September 18th! That is the date on which our wedding planners will release our room blocks and you will have to stay off property if you cannot find a room at Disney.
Given that it will be eighty to ninety degrees even in October in Orlando, Paul and I do not expect you to wear a tuxedo or ball gown to our wedding. The only person wearing a fancy gown will be the bride! Feel free to wear cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, slacks and a button down shirt, or other comfortable, yet dressy, attire.
Totally normal! Paul and I will be happy to field your questions via text message, phone call, Facebook message, carrier pigeon, or any other method of which you can think.
Sort of. Our absolute drop dead date is September 3rd for all guests because that is the final date which our wedding planners need to know our guest count. However, the bride and groom are in a period of transition because she is taking the MO bar exam at the end of July and will be moving back to St. Louis. So, to ensure we didn't lose RSVP cards in the shuffle, we had them due before her exam date. If you are unsure if you can attend by July 18th, you absolutely MUST RSVP by September 3rd to be included!
