Ashlyn and Oliver met when they started working at the same job. They worked the night shift, and enjoyed talking about common interests. Shortly after Ashlyn left the job to pursue other interests, Oliver asked Ashlyn out to coffee. However they never told her it was a date, both hesitant to confess their feelings. During the reniassance season, Ashlyn asked Oliver to join her for a day there. Oliver knew how important the faire was to Ashlyn so they confessed their feelings to her in a scroll they had made (which Ashlyn read before going to their shift at faire, after Oliver ran away). Ashlyn proceeded to immediately call Oliver and tell them they better still be at the festival after her shift ended. They were, in fact still on the same side of the faire as they got lost in circles (Ashlyn to the rescue!). This was the start of a very happy and love filled relationship.
