Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
Heyward Manor- 5827 Highway 81 Iva, SC. A 650-acre family-owned tree farm with a white barn venue. The ceremony will be outdoors by the pond on site and the reception to follow will be in the white barn.

What time is the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5 PM. Cocktail hour to follow will be from about 5:30-6:30 PM. The reception will begin about 6:30 PM and will end at 9 PM.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal- a little dressier than business casual. Break out your nice dresses and nice slacks, but don't go rent a tux. Ties are optional. No jeans please :)

Can I bring my children?
Answer
We love all of your kids, but we request that this is a child free wedding- except our flower girl and ring bearer. We want parents to be able to come have a fun adult night out!

Can we bring our own drinks?
Answer
NO. Heyward Manor has a strict, zero-tolerance policy for alcohol outside of what will be served at the bar. There is absolutely no hard liquor or other spirits allowed on site (don't make a cooler run out to your car while you're on site). Abbeville County Sheriffs office will be on site enforcing this policy, they have security cameras indoors and outdoors.

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?
Answer
You can RSVP on the "RSVP" tab of our website, or scan the QR code on your invitation to take you directly to the page. The deadline for all RSVPs will be March 18th, 2024.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We want to be surrounded by people we know and love. We respectfully request that only the names listed on the invitation attend.

What type of food and drinks will be served?
Answer
We are having a brunch buffet (chicken & waffles, stuffed french toast, egg casserole, etc.) with a mimosa bar, beer, and wine. Water, tea, and coffee will also be provided.

Can we take pictures at the wedding?
Answer
We are requesting an unplugged ceremony- no phones out taking pictures during the ceremony. Let loose and take all the pictures you want during the reception!
