Question

What kind of bar will you have?

Answer

We will be having a cash bar. Please do not bring in any outside drinks (soda, shooters, bottles) we can get into a lot of trouble for this. And will not be covering that fine for you.

What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is formal or black tie optional. We love giving everyone the opportunity to look and feel their best, while also creating a cohesive elegance for photography. The wedding party will be wearing reds, plums, and mulberry; so please try to avoid wearing those colors! We can't wait to see how extravagant you look and how great you feel!

Are you accepting gifts/registry?

Answer

We are not having a traditional registry. We have been so blessed to have everything we need at this point in our lives. One thing we are leaving optional is a honeymoon fund, and wedding costs fund. We have never been able to travel together, even though we have such a calling for it. Ideally we would love to afford a trip with the kids, but we understand how expensive that can be - and how big of an ask that is. If you are compelled to help us achieve this goal, you can find it under the "Registry" tab.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We would like to have a final head count by August 1st, 2026, but if you can rsvp right when you receive the invitation (paper or digital) that would be ideal

Can we bring children

Answer

While we love all children, we will be hosting a child free event. Meaning if your child is under the age of 14 we would ask you to not bring them. Aside from our children who will be taking part in the ceremony and title dances, they will not remain long so we ask that it be limited to this.

Can we take photos?

Answer

No. We understand how you would want to memorialize this event with us; we have hired professionals for this purpose. We kindly request that all phones be put away during the ceremony. We find it to be a distraction to the final prints of our photos, and we would like to have everyone present with us!

Venue and event specifics.

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place in the same building, The Scottish Rite Ballroom; so no need to worry about waiting around and traveling to a different location. There will be a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception to keep you occupied.
