Things To Do

If you plan to make a weekend out of it and see the Dahlonega/Dawsonville area, below are some great opportunities and places to explore and things to do. It is full of plenty of vineyards to choose from that have great places to enjoy a glass of wine, if it suits you. If you like to be outside, Lake Lanier is a short drive (about 20-30 minutes from the venue) and a great opportunity to go boating and make a weekend out of it. If you are coming from the airport or willing to drive farther for some, there is a Braves game on Sunday at 1 pm in the Battery (Truist Park), which is a very cool experience and area to explore; especially if you like baseball. PS. this is where David and Ashlyn had their first date!! If you have any questions for places to see or visit or if you want to venture outside of these areas, please feel free to contact Ashlyn for recommendations, if it is before the wedding.
