Horsetooth Reservoir is absolutely gorgeous and famous in Colorado. It is just minutes away from our wedding location, so it is a perfect place to visit this weekend. Six and one-half miles of water and surrounded by 1,900 acres of public lands, this reservoir has it all: fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, and water skiing. *Note: There is an entrance fee of $9 per vehicle*
Marvel at the scenery of the Cache la Poudre River Canyon
The Cache la Poudre River is the perfect place for whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, and fishing. Surrounded by majestic cliffs and intriguing rock formations enveloped in pines, brush, and aspens, it is perfect for a casual drive through the canyon. *Travel Note: From Fort Collins, hop on Hwy 287 until you meet up with Poudre Canyon Rd*
See the botanic gardens at the Gardens on Spring Creek
The Gardens on Spring Creek is the community botanic garden of Fort Collins, Colorado. It will be full of beautiful blooms in May. *Note: There is an $11 entrance fee to the gardens*

Visit Old Town Fort Collins and Ride the Historical Birney Car 21
Wanting to go explore Old Town Fort Collins? There's so much to do there. Friday art walks, museums, art galleries, shopping, restaurants, and more! To get there, hitch a ride on the only original restored city streetcar operating in the western U.S. today! Watch a Flick at the Holiday Twin Drive-In Theater
When thinking of what a classic summer evening in Fort Collins looks like, catching a movie at the Holiday Twin Drive-In is something that always comes to mind. An outdoor drive-in theater is the perfect way to kick back and relax for an evening on Memorial Day Weekend. The Holiday Twin is one of just six drive in movie lots left in Colorado and one of only about 300 left in the entire country.
