Are children invited to your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you plan to arrange childcare for your children under the age of five years old. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need recommendations for babysitters in Huntsville.

Are there any restrictions on photography or videography during the ceremony?

Answer

YES. Our church has strict rules regarding photography during the ceremony, so keep your cell phones tucked away. Even our professional photographers will have to get their shots from the narthex and balcony! There will be plenty of time to snap pics at the reception. Remember to tag everything with #BecomingAPear!

Is transportation provided between venues?

Answer

At this time we have not arranged for transportation between hotels and venues for our guests. There is plenty of parking available around the church and at the reception venue. Uber and Lyft are good options to utilize if you need a ride after the reception!

Do you have a traditional wedding registry in addition to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

Yes, we do! We are happy and grateful to accept any gift on our registry, but if you ask us, we prefer that you contribute to our honeymoon fund.

Are there special considerations for attire?

Answer

The dress code for our event is cocktail. The reception venue has a beautiful outdoor space behind the clubhouse - we intend to have heaters available if the night gets chilly but you may also want to bring a jacket or wrap just in case.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Our reception will have a wide variety of food options to try to accommodate everyone's preferences (including vegetarian options). We intend to have a few gluten-free cupcakes alongside our wedding cake so all of our guests can enjoy a sweet treat!
