The Ceremony

Attire will be Dress Casual
The Houston Zoo does not allow wedding ceremonies to take place inside of the zoo property. We will be having a short ceremony outside of the zoo entrance at McGovern Lake for anyone who would like to attend. Seating will only consist of steps that are surrounding the lake area. Once the ceremony is done, we will all head into the zoo for the reception! Golf carts will be provided to shuttle guests to and from reception site.
The Reception

The reception will take place at the Twiga Cafe inside of the Houston Zoo. Dinner, dessert, and coffee will be served. There will be indoor and outdoor seating, with heaters provided if needed. Golf carts will be provided to shuttle guests between the zoo entrance at the reception. Dancing will take place in the plaza outside of the cafe.
