Just like many, Corey and I met online, and went on a day date in the Summer of 2016! Little did I know that the day date, would be the end of my single life as I knew it. We were not the couple that spent every minute together, because Corey worked two jobs and was only really available a limited amount of time at first. I will say that made it work for us, because we were both spending the time necessary together and apart. His family and friends welcomed me with open arms, and likewise from my family and friends. We are two very different yet very similar, which is what makes us work. I'm very much a high strung, type A person, and Corey is not. Corey is very much the laid back, go with the flow person. We both love sports, being outside, being active, cooking and playing with our pup! We are so thrilled for this next step in our lives, and are so excited you'll be with us to celebrate!

We were outside, cleaning up from my birthday party the night before with the best friends a girl could ask for. For anyone who knows Corey, knows that he's a jokester and loves to be silly, along with a relatively bad back. Rylee was outside playing and loves to chase any critter. On que, she ran towards the fence chasing a cat, and I look back at Corey. He's on the grass grimacing in pain, like he tweaked his back. I go to check on him, and all the while I look to Rylee to make sure she's not getting into anything specific. I go back to check on Corey, and he's down on one knee asking me to marry him while using the ring my grandmother left me when she passed. My actual engagement ring is center stoned with his great-grandmother's diamond, which was custom designed into the ring of my dreams.
