Our Story
Carter and Ashlyn's story on how they met is very simple. They knew of each other due to living in the same town, but they never crossed paths as much until December of 2019. Around Ashlyn's birthday that month, one of her friends made a birthday post on social media. Carter decided to add her as a friend, which made their love story begin. After almost 5 years of dating, Carter finally decided to pop the question on April 12th, 2025! He was able to fool Ashlyn by telling her that they were going to a fancy dinner to celebrate a friends birthday and before leaving town, they needed to stop at the Bruce cabin to meet a relative that was visiting town. Little did she know, that would be the start of a new forever! Over the years of being together, they have have enjoyed going on long walks to debrief about their day, binge watching Netflix shows, and spending as much time as they can with their families close by.
