FAQs

Question

How/when do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs are not yet open. Once your formal invitation arrives, you’ll be able to respond right here on our website. Please check back then—we look forward to hearing from you!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at The Allegro Hotel Chicago Loop. Please navigate to the "Travel" section of our website for more information. There are several hotels in the area within walking distance of the venue you are welcome to check out.

Question

When should I get there?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm (CST). We recommend you arrive by 4:30pm in order to give you time to find a seat.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a dark suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in your holiday best!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

December in Chicago can get pretty cold, with snow or rain not being uncommon. The welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be hosted in the same building. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day.

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

Valet parking is available at the hotel for $35.00 for the event or $77.00 for overnight stays. Alternatively, self-parking is available 1/2 block away at 200 W. Randolph Street for $57.00 per night with in/out privileges.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

When it is time to RSVP and select your meal option, there will be a section to list any dietary restrictions or allergies. We will share this directly with the banquet team to ensure your meal is safe and delicious!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Hell yeah! Open bar!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired professional photographers to capture how the ceremony looks. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Once the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We haven’t finalized our registry just yet! Please check the "Registry" section of our website closer to the wedding date for more information.
