If you have a few minutes to spare, I would love for you to read this: In march of 2020, Covid-19 hit. (I know everyone is tired of hearing of Covid. Bare with me.) It was coming up on Tony and I 1 year anniversary. (April 19, 2019 was the day I officially became his girlfriend.) In the news, there were many things going on, including the Australian wildfires with no rain in sight and the Locust plague in Africa. One night towards the end of March, I was getting ready for bed and scrolling through Facebook. I came across a post of the Bible with this at the top: Australian wildfires - The rain was held back Africa - Locust Plague World Pandemic - Covid-19 Then, it had a picture of the Bible flipped open to 2 Chronicles 7 with Verse 13-14 highlighted which read "Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again." As I read this, I felt God was saying it directly toward me. I did not know much of God's Word or hardly any of His Ten Commandments, but I knew that He loved me and I needed to follow Him and learn His Word. At that point, I understood how and what my Grandma Wanda and Grandpa John had tried to be getting through my stubborn head. God sent His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, by Mary (who was a Virgin) to spread God's Word, be sent to the cross to die for OUR (Not just mine, but yours too!) sins, to be buried in a tomb and 3 days later be resurrected and is now sitting at God's right hand. God's Word states that anyone who repents (turns away from sin) and turns to God and follows Him will be saved and enjoy an eternal life with Him in Heaven. It is a FREE gift from God. Trust Him. It is by God's grace I have been saved and you can be too! God loves you! I love you! Thank you for taking the time to read this! Have a Blessed Day!

Growing up I never had a problem believing in God. I could look at life and know there was something more, that we were created with a purpose. But it wasn’t until recently that I discovered who Jesus really was. I had heard the gospel many times and even accepted it! But one day as I was reading the Bible (and if I’m being honest hadn’t been for some time) something happened that couldn’t be put into words, the gospel rang in my ears! My heart began to race. I have heard this so many times in my life but this time my heart was truly changed! I felt guilt and joy, triumph and sorrow. I couldn’t describe what had just happened to me and still to this day its hard to explain. There was this newness of life and the world around me was no longer the same. But the Lord lead me in the Bible that could explain exactly what had just happened to me. The Word became flesh! The Word was now my best friend. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the shocking reality hit me that I wasn’t saved. I understood the meaning of a Savior! And the answer is waiting for everyone. His name is Jesus Christ.
