We're getting married!

It all started at the gym in 2018 — though it took Chad a few months (and a whole lot of courage) before he finally worked up the nerve to say hello. In March of 2019, he “just happened” to catch me on my way out, and in that small, ordinary moment… something quietly extraordinary began. Our first date was simple — a movie and a walk through a park in Bismarck — but it felt like something out of a story. Conversation came easily, the laughter felt natural, and neither of us wanted the night to end. From that day on, we both knew this was different. In 2020, Chad took me down by the river for a walk and told me he wanted to take things seriously. Standing there, with the water moving beside us, it felt like everything was falling into place exactly the way it was meant to. Five years later, on September 27, 2025, we found ourselves back in that very same spot — this time with our sweet Valentine (the best gift Chad ever gave me in 2022) trotting beside us. As the river flowed and the sun began to dip lower, Chad got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. We love long walks, trying new foods, teasing each other endlessly, and laughing through every season of life. Family means everything to us. What we’ve built together feels steady, joyful, and full of love — and we cannot wait to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people (and pup!) who mean the most to us.
