We're getting married!

Casey and I first met in 2015, we were working opposite shifts at a local restaurant. It was rare that we’d see each other but we happened to work on the same shift one day. At this point, neither of us were in a position to get involved in anything serious but that didn’t stop Casey from trying. I declined his first offer of getting a drink and we went back to just coworkers. Fast forward 6 months and I learned that the friendly bartender was growing some wings and moving to Oregon. During this time, my life was changing as well. I like to think that this period of time allowed us both to get to our own “ready” point. I began a new job that just so happened to lead us to meeting once again. One hot July summer night Casey and his friends made their way into my new place of employment. Seeing him again, in town, made me feel something to my core. I knew that our paths didn’t cross again by chance. This time when we started talking, we exchanged numbers and our friendship slowly turned into more. Maybe slow is an understatement, because two weeks later we were officially a couple. When you know you know and there’s nothing we’re more sure of than knowing that we were meant to be more than friends, coworkers or acquaintances. Life has a funny way of working out and we’re so thankful for every turn that led us to this point. We have been together for two years now and in those two years we have already faced things that would cause some to break. But with a love as strong as ours it only made it stronger. That is why we are making it official because we know there is nothing more we want than to be each others forever!
