We're getting married

On March 27, 2026—the day before my golden birthday—Jake and Peyton took me out to the High Trestle Trail. We walked out onto the bridge, timing it perfectly with the sunset and the blue-lit arches on the bridge were glowing. When we stopped, he handed me a small gold-wrapped gift. Inside was a baby blue sweatshirt with a line from Taylor Swift’s Love Story: “baby just say yes.” Then he told me he couldn’t imagine his life without me and would be honored if I would be his wife and he asked if I’d marry him. I said "yeah" because I don't know how to act. Then I quickly changed to "Yes, I will!". Peyton was there and captured the whole thing on video, which made it even more special. Afterward, the three of us went to Firebirds to celebrate and take it all in. Simple, thoughtful, and very “us.” We've decided to take a trip to the bridge every March to remember that special day.
