FAQs

Don't worry, we already know you would have some questions.
Question

Are there two different invitations?

Answer

Yes, for those that received the Brown invitation, you have been invited to attend our wedding in person. For those receiving a green invitation, you have been invited to attend virtually. A RSVP is required for both invitations.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

All RSVPs must be received by January 31st . Any outstanding or late response will be sent the streaming link via email.

Question

I tried to RSVP but the site won’t let me. What should I do?

Answer

Step 1. Don’t freak out! You're still invited. Step 2. Contact the Bride or Groom to let us know. We will troubleshoot with you to rectify the issue.

Question

I have a dietary restriction. Will I be able to eat?

Answer

Please indicate your dietary restriction on your RSVP. We will make all efforts to address your needs with our chosen menu.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The short answer is NO. But let’s discuss a little more, shall we? We have carefully curated a guest list of our friends and loved ones that accommodate spouses and significant others that are known to us. Your RSVP card will reflect the number of seats that are reserved for you (and a potential guest). If the individual that would have been your plus one is unable to make it that seat will be allocated to someone else.

Question

Can my kids come?

Answer

Due to space limitations this is an adult-only event. Only children involved in the wedding will be permitted to attend and will be required to leave by 9 pm.

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

A block of rooms has been reserved for our out-of-town guests. Please go to the TRAVEL tab to reserve your room. If you would prefer to stay at another location, please feel free but we can’t guarantee you won’t miss out on a thing or two! If booking with our hotel block all reservation must be made by February 1st

Question

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotel?

Answer

No, unfortunately our hotel does not supply a shuttle service. If you plan on drinking with us we STRONGLY encourage you to take a Uber or Lyft to and from the venue. We want everyone to have fun but most importantly we want everyone to be safe.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Well, it depends on where you are coming from! Our suggestion is to use Google Maps or the Waze app to navigate to the venue. The address is 2726 W Roscoe St, Chicago, IL 60618.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 pm. We suggest that you arrive no later than 3:30 so you have time to find your seat, sign the guest book, and grab a beverage!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Sarabande Chicago has a parking lot specifically for our use that is FREE OF CHARGE! The lot is located directly across the street from the entrance of the event space.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Absolutely! We are requesting that everyone show up in Cocktail Attire. That means you can leave the tuxes and ballgowns at home but come dressed to impress. No jeans, athleticwear, gym shoes or t-shirts will be permitted.

Question

Are there any colors that I should avoid wearing?

Answer

Please refrain from wearing green, brown, or white as these are reserved for the bridal party.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony is an unplugged ceremony. We have invested in a videographer and photographer to capture all the moments of our big day. So, we ask that all phones and cameras are put away during the ceremony. However, once we say “I do” you can too! Take all the pictures you want and make sure to tag us! #meetthebucks2025

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony and reception will both be held at Sarabande Chicago. The event space is handicap accessible from multiple points of entry.

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

NEVER, lol! Well, actually we have the space until 11pm but be prepared for the after party!

Question

Answer
