Ashley and Zackary will be having an intimate elopement in Zion National Park on October 2nd, 2025. A reception is planned for the newly wedded couple to celebrate with loved ones.

Zack and I met in the beginning of 2020. We both attended Shawnee State University but had never crossed paths until I noticed him while we were out one night. To my surprise, my best friend was a mutual friend of Zacks so when I told her "that guys cute", she made sure to let him know. Zack and I had our first date at Shawnee Lodge. After our date, he dropped me off and I let him meet my dog Brinley. Brinley was very timid around new people, but I remember her going right up to Zack. I thought to myself that it was a sign he and I were going to work out. Shortly after we began seeing each other, the COVID pandemic began and we quarantined together. Throughout the summer of 2020 we did a lot of hiking, watching movies and he took me on many dates using his brothers gift cards (haha!). Fast forward to the fall of 2020, he moved to Indiana for his first job out of college and I was quick to follow. During our time in Indiana we got another dog named Huck to join our little family. We were there for a few years but we came back to live in Columbus. May 13, 2024 we had just moved into a new apartment and it was Zacks birthday so we were going to go to dinner to celebrate. I remember him telling me to dress nice so I didn't think anything of it. When we came back from dinner, he popped the question! He knew that I wanted it to be an intimate proposal so it was just us and I couldn't have been happier. We are so excited to start this new chapter and spend the rest of our lives together!
