ZigBone is a bit remote but if you find yourself with a little bit extra time, you can make a drive northeast to Gettysburg (30 min) for a little shopping or battlefield marching, south to Cunningham Falls State Park for some hiking (20 minutes), or a little further south to barhop and window shop in downtown Frederick (30 minutes).
