Bradley and Sarah first met at a Head and the Heart concert in 2018. Unfortunately, they were both with other people. Sarah and Bradley said maybe two sentences to each other before the night was over. "Hello. Nice to meet you." and "Goodbye." While the night was enjoyable, that was the last time they thought they would see each other. Cut to 4 years later with Bradley swiping through a dating app. As he swiped, his heart longed for the girl he had seen in 2018. Luckily for him, he happened to find someone who looked vaguely like her. Taking a chance that she would message him back, he swiped right. When she matched and messaged him, he took his chance and said, "this might sound weird, but were you at a concert at the Observatory in 2018? The Head and the Heart concert?" Sarah wracked her brain trying to remember the weird thing she must have done to make this guy remember her 4 years later. Through conversation, she discovered (surprisingly) it wasn't anything weird she did, but her stunning beauty and personality that brought him back to her after all those years. But that isn't the end of the story yet.... Just a few months later, happily in love, Sarah was missing Bradley and decided to look through her photos of him to cure her heart of its aching. As she scrolled through the photos Google said had his face in them, there was a video at the bottom. This video was one she had taken in 2016 when she was onstage for a pre-show performance from a musical called "Once" at South Coast Repertory Theater. But she hadn't met Bradley yet, so what could this video be? She proceeded to watch and thought she noticed a familiar face in the crowd. It was Bradley! She texted Bradley immediately and he found a photo his mother had taken of the stage. He zoomed in and there in the background was Sarah and her mother on stage. This cementing their love and showing...sometimes it is just meant to be.

Bradley and Sarah were on a trip to the East Coast for the wedding of their friends, Meg and Tyler. They decided to extend their trip to visit family and explore Maryland, D.C., New Jersey, and New York. Their anniversary happened to fall during their trip so they decided to surprise each other with activities for the day. Little did Sarah know that for months Bradley had been planning on proposing. Under the guise of a special "presentation" Bradley had Sarah get ready early in the morning. Once she was ready, he gave her a lovely note talking about how much he was in love with her and instructing her to walk down the stairs. Lining the stairs leading to the living room were candles and pieces of paper. On the paper, Bradley wrote different things he loved about Sarah using the letters of her name. When Sarah walked into the living room, Bradley sat her down and sang "Run Away With Me." Near the end of the song he pulled out a ring, got down on one knee, and asked Sarah to marry him. Through the tears and laughter, she said the magic word....."Yes!"
