When should I RSVP by?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No dates, children, or plus ones that were not previously invited. Unfortunately, additional guests will have to be turned away as we have prearranged the guest lists with the venue. Everyone will need to check in with the name(s) on their RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Between 10:45 to 11:00AM! We have some special presentations as you find your seats and a sharp start of 11:30AM for the ceremony. Due to the layout of the venue, you won't be able to enter once the ceremony starts. You've automatically been RSVP'd for the Welcome and Arrival Event, so please plan to arrive and settle in early!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Winter Semi-formal is the attire but please trend towards formal. Long dresses, gowns (it's December), very dressy jumpsuits/pant suites, jackets, slacks, suits/separates, button ups, ties. We won't turn anyone away who is underdressed but please honor the attire as best you can. How often do you get to come chic and dress your best?! Have fun with it!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be able to provide transportation and advise guests drive, carpool, or schedule an Uber/Lyft the night before (the wait times can be very long in Baton Rouge!). The venue is a 10 minute drive from the Baton Rouge Marriott Hotel.

Where should I stay? New Orleans or Baton Rouge?

Answer

We have blocked the Baton Rouge Marriott hotel for Friday & Saturday night. It is about a 7-10 car ride to the wedding venue. All guest are encouraged to use this hotel and special rate. If you choose to stay in New Orleans, we won't have a hotel block and you will have to travel about 70-90 minutes by car. We are happy for you to decide what is best for you but request that you are on time for the ceremony in either case. Enjoy the area and spend some time celebrating with us!
