Yes. We've decided we are going to move forward with our June 5 date. However, it's going to look very different from how we imagined. We invited over 200 guests, and the city and our venue are only allowing a maximum of 50 guests at this point. Fortunately as of 5/1/21 we were able to invite an additional 35 guests. While this was a very difficult decision for us, we hope our guests will understand. Please know that our friends and family who can’t be in attendance will be dearly missed. But, we are excited to provide a live-streamed virtual option for those who can't be in person to celebrate with us (see more below).
Yes! Please continue to visit our EVENTS page on this website for a link to our virtual ceremony. We are so excited to be able to offer this option to friends and family who will be unable to join us. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86898665148?pwd=bnhPMHRTdmpYMi95N21xUE1uS3RGdz09 Passcode: Oates
Yes. The health and safety of our friends and family are of the utmost importance to us and we will be following our venue's guidelines as well as implementing our own for our guests who will be attending in person. We will be following CDC Guidance and as of 5/14 that guidance is that vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask in large gatherings, but if you're more comfortable in a mask then please feel free to do so. Those who are fully vaccinated (2 doses of Moderna or 2 doses of Pfizer, or one dose of J&J) will not need to test prior to our wedding. However, we ask that all unvaccinated guests attending take a COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to the ceremony and that the test result is NEGATIVE in order to attend. There will only be 8 people seated to a table and each table will be spaced 6ft apart. We will have plenty of disposable face masks and hand sanitizer on site as well for those who feel more comfortable wearing a mask (even if vaccinated).
As of May 21, those who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear masks outdoors or indoors unless required by the specific business, but those who are unvaccinated must continue to wear masks in all indoor and outdoor spaces. However, masks must still be worn by everyone on any and all public transportation (this includes Ubers). As of May 21, restaurants and bars will be open at full capacity.
No. Unfortunately, we weren't able to coordinate this due to COVID-19 and many guests staying at varying locations. The easiest way for guests to get to the wedding venue is via Uber or Taxi. There is also a large parking lot across from the venue with free parking and cars can be left over night.
