This is the most prominent example of gothic architecture in Italy. We suggest you buy tickets to go up to church's roof for a beautiful view of Milan. After the roof, you will be able to directly enter the church where you can see its spectacular stained glass windows.
Be sure to book well in advance as tickets sell out quickly and space is limited. Ticket sales open in 2-month tranches—for May, ticket sales open on March 30.
