Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at Lakeview Gardens. It’s an all-outdoor venue with beautiful lake views, so dress accordingly and prepare for a romantic evening under the stars!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP after receiving your formal invitation, which will be sent out later in the year.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there’s ample parking at Lakeview Gardens. If you’re taking a rideshare, just use the venue name in your app. We suggest scheduling your rideshare in advance.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We recommend staying in nearby Mount Dora, which is about a 20-minute drive from the venue. It’s a charming little town with great restaurants, boutique hotels, and cozy B&Bs. A few options to check out: Lakeside Inn, Adora Inn and Hampton Inn Mount Dora. Book early! It’s a popular area, especially on weekends!

What’s the nearest airport?
Answer
The closest major airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is about an hour from Umatilla. Renting a car is recommended, as the venue and nearby towns are best accessed by driving.

What should I wear?
Answer
Attire is cocktail. Dressy please, but not black tie. Think dresses, jumpsuits, or suits/blazers. Please keep in mind that everything will be outdoors (grass and gravel), so choose your footwear with that in mind!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will appear on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the guest list adults-only, with the exception of the kids in the wedding party. Thanks for understanding!

Can we bring a gift to the wedding or should we mail it?
Answer
We’d love for gifts from our registry to be shipped to our home—that’s the easiest option for us. If you’d like to bring something small or a card, feel free to bring it to the venue. We’ll have a table set up where you can leave any gifts or cards you bring.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:30PM to find your seat and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?
Answer
Yes. We’re asking guests to put away phones and cameras for the ceremony only so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Our photographer will capture everything and we’ll be happy to share the memories after.
