Our story began back in 2009 at UCSD's Eleanor Roosevelt Dorms. It took over a year and a twist of fate to push us together. Destiny played its hilarious hand when Tyler and his roommates ended up in the apartment just across from mine during sophomore year. They were always finding excuses to come over, they needed to borrow a toaster, or a tea pot! But it wasn't until the spring of 2011 that he finally asked me out.

Leah and I have shared an incredible journey of 11 years together. Italy holds a special place in her heart, having spent time there during her study abroad and later pursuing her MBA. Our first adventure together led us to the enchanting city of Venice, a place filled with romance, adventure, and unforgettable moments. It became a cherished spot for both of us. So, when the time came for me to pop the question, I knew exactly where it had to happen. I wanted the proposal to be nothing short of extraordinary, a moment we would never forget. With meticulous planning, I had a ring specially crafted and a photographer on standby to capture the moment. In September 2022, on a beautiful fall evening, we found ourselves next to a charming canal in Venice, with a gondola passing by and onlookers cheering us on. As the sun began to set, I asked Leah to be my partner for life and she said yes! Making Venice an even more magical place for us and forever etching that picturesque moment in our hearts.
