We're so excited to celebrate with you!

I will never forget the day that I first met Ashley. It was September 17, 2014 in Richmond dorm. She had her hair up, a white t-shirt, yellow shorts, and white flip flops and all I could think to myself is that she was by far the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. After hours of hanging out and getting to know each other, I walked her back to her dorm room later on that night, but couldn’t build up the confidence to ask her for her number. All I could think is that there is absolutely no chance in the world that she would go for someone like me. Luckily, I knew her friend and was able to get her Snapchat name from her and I instantly slid in Ashley’s DMs to get her number because I was too nervous to in person. As we got to know each other better, we began to hang out more and more and got comfortable with each other. But for some reason every time I would see her, I got butterflies. It happened every single time. Ashley was the reason why I enjoyed my time at college so much. We could turn any situation into memorable moments. For example, we would stay up late at night and play cards. I would try to scale back my competitiveness, but little did I know, Ashley is one of the most competitive people I have ever met. But to this day, one of my favorite memories is when we were driving back to Ashley’s house in Rochester and we started to play some throwbacks. I thought I would try to impress her by rapping Lil Wayne, but little did I know. Ashley knew every single word to every song and embarrassed me. But all I could do was smile because deep down I knew at that moment we were meant to be. Fast forward 7 years later and here we are counting down our big day to celebrate our love for each other with y'all. I can’t wait to marry the most beautiful and caring person one could ever hope to meet. We are so happy that you will be joining us on May 28, 2022. - Corey
