Bjorn Funk is Paul's brother and the middle (but not easily forgotten) child in the Funk family. Paul and Ashley are both convinced that he's secretly an alien (or maybe adopted), and hope to prove it one day. You'll find bits of his inventions around the Funk household, and in January, you'll find him helping Paul prepare for a wedding.
Taylor Barry
Maid of Honor
Taylor is a traveler at heart, owner of one psychotic cat, and Ashley's younger sister. Due to Ashley's kindness and patience as she grew up, Taylor turned out ok. They've been best friends, confidantes, and partners in crime since Taylor could talk, and now that Ashley's getting married, they've added Maid of Honor to her list of job titles.
Spencer Funk
Best Man
Spencer is Paul's brother and the youngest child in the Funk family. He thinks he's punny (we'll let you judge for yourselves), and a bit of a prankster. We guarantee he'll be the life of the reception.
Susanna Hobbs
Bridesmaid
Susanna met Ashley and Paul while on a medical mission with Charity Beyond Borders in 2019. She's a bit of a coffee addict and friends with both of them, but Ashley called dibs on her for the wedding party!
Nico Lugo
Groomsman
Nico and Paul met in 2015 while working at Panda Express. Since then they've been workout buddies, attended Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt almost every year, and avidly game together. Despite so many years of close friendship, he's still saved in Paul's phone as Nico Panda.
Sydney Funk
Bridesmaid
Sydney and Ashley met when Bjorn brought her home in 2017, and they bonded over the absurdity of the Funk brothers. Ashley was a bridesmaid in Bjorn and Sydney's wedding in 2020, and she's excited to turn the tables!
Kevin Weiss
Groomsman
Kevin and Paul met while working at KFC in 2013. He's been a loyal friend ever since, and he and Paul still nerd out over Game of Thrones (the books and the show), and Lord of the Rings. Plus, he happens to have one of the cutest dogs ever.
Maple and Willow
Pets
They won't be walking down the aisle with us, but they're too cute not to include on the website! Maple and Willow will be relaxing with a sitter the day of the wedding, but they'll get plenty of attention later to make up for it.
