We met in Huntsville, Alabama in November 2019. Ashley had just gotten back from a clinical rotation in Thailand and was completing the remainder of her pharmacy school clinical rotations. Zach was working as an engineer for Teledyne-Brown at the time and had recently purchased his house. We met up for the first time at Honest Coffee, in downtown Huntsville. As we were talking and getting to know one another Zach mentioned Cook, MN. Being the first time we met, Ashley starts drilling Zach with questions about Cook, MN. No one in Alabama can know about Cook, MN. While Zach is describing Cook, MN and answering all of Ashley's questions Ashley is running through her mind how he could have known she has family from there and if he was stalking her in some way. When Zach begins to describe the town in better detail than Ashley could have at the time, she relaxed and realized he had actually been there. Ashley tells Zach that her dad's family is from there, adding some context to the 20 questions. Ashley relays her family would go up there frequently when she was younger to visit her great-grandparents and additional family there. In fact her great-grandparent's used to own L&L Bakery in downtown Cook. This blew Zach's mind as he had heard of L&L Bakery from the people he knew up there. That planned one hour meet turned into 4 hours and things never stopped from there. Several dates later (always longer than planned), quarantining for several months, engagement, and long distance relationship later and here we are, walking down the aisle to say "I do" in front of our friends and family.
