We met on move in day our freshman year at Butler thanks to a few mutual friends and quickly became close friends. By the following summer we were dating, and the rest is history!

Our proposal is actually quite a funny story...Zach had been planning a surprise engagement in my favorite place, Disney, for about nine months. Then, two weeks before the surprise, I asked a few too many questions and figured out the surprise; he was flying down to propose. It all worked out in the end because I had no idea he was going to ask on New Years Eve in front of the Christmas Tree at the Wilderness Lodge! Marry Me by Bruno Mars even came on after the proposal, and his family made a surprise visit to help us celebrate!
