Dear Family and Friends, We are so excited to celebrate with you at our wedding! Since our venue is located in Mexico, we wanted to share a few travel recommendations & options to help make your trip as easy and comfortable as possible. Travel Recommendations: To help make travel as smooth and stress-free as possible, we recommend that guests travel to San Diego on Friday evening to avoid potential wedding day traffic and border delays. Guests may then cross into Mexico on Saturday morning either independently through the San Ysidro Port of Entry or with the bride and groom through the Otay Mesa Port of Entry before heading to the venue. Venue Arrival Option 1: Meet at Ashley’s Family Residence Saturday Morning - Otay Mesa Border We will be meeting early Saturday morning at Ashley’s family residence to create a line of cars traveling together to the venue. Anyone who prefers to cross the Otay Mesa border by walking is welcome to do so we will gladly pick you up once you cross. Venue Arrival Option #2: Traveling to the Venue Independently - San Ysidro Port of Entry Guests are also welcome to travel directly to the venue on their own if they feel comfortable doing so. For the fastest and most convenient route, we recommend crossing through the San Ysidro Port of Entry and taking Federal Highway 1D, also known as the Tijuana–Ensenada Scenic Toll Road. Please note that there are several toll booths along the route, so we recommend having cash available for toll payments. From the border, the drive to the venue is approximately 30 minutes and offers a beautiful coastal view along the way. We hope these options help make travel planning easier for everyone. More details regarding timing, meeting locations, and transportation coordination will be shared closer to the wedding date.
