1. When is the RSVP deadline?

RSVP no later than August 1, 2026. You will receive one courtesy call if RSVP has not been received.

2. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are indoors.

3. Will there be parking available?

Answer

Free parking will be available at both the ceremony and reception.

4. What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors for the ceremony will open at 9:15AM, and the ceremony will begin at 10:00AM. Doors for the reception will open 1:45PM, and the reception will begin at 2:00PM.

5. Who can attend the church ceremony?

Answer

The church ceremony is open to all guests, of all ages. On the invitation, please confirm who will be attending the church ceremony.

6. What is not permitted at the church ceremony?

Answer

At Ebenezer AME church, guests are not permitted to: - In sanctuary, have/eat food. - In sanctuary, have/drink liquids. - On church grounds, smoke or vape. - On church grounds, have glitter/confetti/rice/bubbles, or messy debris. - In sanctuary, use cameras or take videos. (All devices must be silenced.) - On church grounds, have any object/device that can be used as a weapon, cause harm, or be a fire hazard (no firearms, bladed/impact objects, sparklers, or explosives). - To the ceremony, bring unannounced plus-ones. - On church grounds, display disruptive behavior (damage property, explicit language, verbal outbursts, violent behavior, and unauthorized commercial activities).

7. Who can attend the reception venue?

Answer

The reception venue is only open to guests that have access to the "Reception" area of the invitation within this site. The reception has an age minimum of 18.

8. What is not permitted at the reception venue?

At Martin's West, guests are not permitted to: -Within venue, smoke or vape. - On venue grounds, have glitter, confetti, rice, bubbles, or messy debris. - On venue grounds, have any object/device that can be used as a weapon, cause harm, or be a fire hazard (no firearms, bladed/impact objects, sparklers, or explosives). - To the reception, bring unannounced plus-ones. - On venue grounds, display disruptive behavior (damage property, explicit language, verbal outbursts, violent behavior, and unauthorized commercial activities).

9. What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

10. Are there hotels near the reception venue?

Answer

There are several hotels in the surrounding area, the closest being the Hampton Inn & Suites which is located next to the venue. This specific hotel participates in "block-booking" and special rates. (See the Nearby & Inner Harbor Hotels tab for more details.)
