FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ashley Demery and William Lago
This page includes everything you need to know for our wedding weekend at the campgrounds. The information here is meant to help ensure a relaxed, joyful, and magical celebration beneath the stars. ✨ If you have any questions at all or want to coordinate a meal, please don’t hesitate to reach out on FB or call/text me at (360) 972-1139!
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, families are invited to join our celebration beneath the stars. ✨ With the Nooksack River running alongside the campgrounds, we ask that little adventurers be closely supervised so everyone can experience the joy, magic, and wonder of this special day!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, think semi-formal with magical inspiration. 🌙 Dress as if Sailor Moon were celebrating in an enchanted forest. ✨ Flowing gowns, tailored suits, or magical-inspired outfits are perfect. July days are warm, but riverside evenings can be cool. Bring a light layer and comfortable shoes for walking throughout the campgrounds!

Question

Can we sleep at the Campgrounds?

Answer

Yes! Guests may rest and dream in Campground 3, our designated riverside sleeping area, all weekend until Monday Afternoon✨ Thursday and into Friday afternoon, Campgrounds 1 and 2 are reserved for weaving magic and preparing the celebration, so they will be off-limits. In Campground 3, you’re welcome to pitch tents, park RVs, relax by the river, or simply soak in the sun/stars until the wedding festivities awaken the day after. 🌙🧝

Question

Will Food be provided for the entire Weekend?

Answer

The wedding day will be full of food, laughter, and a moonlit celebration! 🌙 The rest of the weekend is bring-your-own, but we’d love to coordinate shared meals so we can cook, eat, and make magic together! ✨

Question

What is the alcohol policy for the wedding day and weekend?

Answer

During the short period after the ceremony for photos, only non-alcoholic drinks like juices and refreshers will be served. Plans for alcohol later in the day are still being decided. If alcohol is part of the celebration, please stay on-site or have a designated driver. We ask that there be no drunkenness before the dances so everyone’s moonlit twirls stay magical. Drinking and driving will result in authorities being called. For the rest of the weekend, guests are welcome to bring and enjoy their own beverages responsibly while enjoying the campgrounds. 🌸🌙
